Take a short stroll to Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, and Hawaiian Convention Center.

This sleek, remodeled studio offers partial ocean views and bay window city views and sleeps 3. This unit is located on the 16th floor.

This home includes a kitchenette with a hot plate (portable stove), microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge/freezer, dishes, cups, cutlery and basic cookware.

LIVING/SLEEPING AREA

This unit includes a queen size bed (sleeps 2 guests), futon sofa (sleep 1 guest), dining area for 2 guests framed by bay windows, coffee table, large smart tv, and ac.

The Hawaiian Monarch building offers upgraded amenities such as a giant Sundeck, pool and hot tub, paid fitness center (one-time nominal fee), paid luggage storage (one-time nominal fee), paid laundry (nominal fee). The building lobby levels also have a locally-owned coffee shop, car rental, King’s Pub (bar), convenience store and restaurant (Burger & Sushi). Building has 24/7 security, elevators and attached, secured garage.

PARKING

This home does NOT come with parking. Paid parking is offered based on availability by the attached garage for a daily fee of approximately $40/day. Please note that the parking is not owned by or offered by us. It is ran by a separate company with no affiliation with this rental, and prices and availability are subject to change at any time.

Nestled at the beginning of Waikiki along the palm-tree dotted Ala Wai Canal, the Hawaiian Monarch offers easy access to Honolulu’s diverse offerings.

Take a short walk to the restaurant-filled Hilton Hawaiian Village or the adjacent protected bay for swimming, picnic-ing and paddle boarding. Explore nearby Fort DeRussy Beach Park, soft-sanded beaches, famous restaurants, surf lessons, paddle board rentals, and shopping. Close to Hawaii Convention Center, Royal Hawaiian Center, Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, Diamond Head State Monument and more.

Our place had large windows that opened, so wonderful breezes day and night. Kitchen functionally equipped to make small meals.
View of ocean and mountains.
Walking distance to everything.

This was an incredible space! Terry and Maya were very quick to reach and were great hosts. The room is pretty spacious and great for solo travelers. The view from the windows were amazing since it is a corner room; you can see the view of the ocean as well as the canal in the back. Everything nearby is a walkable distance and honestly a pretty great location for exploring around. Bed and couch were comfy, T.V. had so many options to choose from, & the A.C. unit was my saving grace! Cutlery and dishes were available for use if you wanted to cook at home. The mini fridge/freezer came in handy as well for any leftovers to eat as a midnight snack. Bathroom and shower were nice. Just be careful & gentle with the shower curtain! Bathroom sink did have a leak in it when I arrived but Maya and Terry were quick to help me out and sent a plumber to fix it the next morning. Elevators in the morning around 9:30am-11:00am take quite a while so keep that in mind if you are in a rush to get anywhere; might have to wait up to 10-15 minutes for one to get up to the floor. Overall, check-in and check-out were very easy and I had no other issues during my trip. I am very pleased with my stay! Would definitely stay here again :) Mahalo!

Husband and I stayed here 4 nights and we had a great time. The space is in an awesome location, only a 15 min walk to the popular spots in Waikiki. The building offers car rentals and beach chair rentals which we took advantage of. There’s also a 7 Eleven on the same block which was very convenient for buying water and snacks. The bed is comfortable and cozy. There’s not a lot of room for hanging things since there isn’t a closet, but wasn’t a big deal for us. You can hear the street noise pretty clearly, just fyi in case you’re a light sleeper. Other than that we had a wonderful time and this was the perfect budget friendly for us since we were outside for most of the day.

Great place, even better location. The hotel staff was always super helpful and the amenities made staying here really enjoyable. The view was spectacular, totally worth it, totally recommend.

I would definitely be back! A very nice remodeled unit in a very good location. Walking distance to many entertainments. They have several rental transportation available on site. Very convenient!
